digivod gmbh is a German manufacturer of video management software. The company was founded in 2008, based in Meerbusch near Dusseldorf. Our software quickly became known as the solution that makes video security easy, both for analog and IP technology and everything „made in Germany“.
Today, digivod is one of the most widespread video management solutions in Germany, especially in the area of police and investigative authorities. Furthermore, our video management software in Switzerland and abroad monitors entire cities and critical infrastructures.

Research and Development
Digivod continues to evolve. Together with our partners, we develop tailor-made solutions that are ultimately made available to all customers. This is how all our customers benefit, thanks to regular updates from the numerous further research and developments.
Digivod also participates in official research projects such as in the – „Cooperative system platform for video upload, evaluation, semi-automated analysis and archiving (PERFORMANCE)“ .
The aim of the PERFORMANCE project is to explore business models that allow private-sector image and video analysis resources to be used as needed to accelerate the investigative work of law enforcement agencies. Legal and social framework conditions should be adhered to in the development of appropriate technical and organizational implementation models. To evaluate the business models, a cooperative system platform for video upload, evaluation, semi-automated analysis and archiving have been realised.
